The jam, the rain, and the apple who wears the mask

Dear all,

I’m back! I’M BACK! I’M BACK! I’M BACK!!! I am so happy to be back! Teluk Intan was not too bad this time round… I kept myself busy in a 7am-5pm schedule.. going early to the hospital to take blood, follow rounds, clerk patients, attend classes, you know, the usual drill… it was easy to distract oneself when one is in a busy rotation.. and before you know it, one day had past… I needed that distraction… my friends thought I was suddenly over-motivated… but hell, distractions are good… it reduces homesickness... and a few other things…. I tried to tired myself as much as possible, because, the lying on the bed part, every night, the reflection and thoughts, before going into slumber-land can be unbearable… so, if I’m tired enough, that miserable duration can be shorten or even skipped.

Besides, I’m still practicing the ‘I-am-happy-today-because-(fill in the blanks)-‘ thing...

The staffs here in Teluk Intan are really nice and helpful. They address the medical students here as Doctors. And they make you feel important. Even the HO(House Officers) and MO(Medical Officers) werer super nice...

A few funny things did happened at Teluk Intan hospital, a few scary,.. but I’ll leave that for another day, perhaps...

Anyway, I’m back! It feels great to be back!

of love

Today, i heard a story which was not a story of falling...
of living in the dark end of winter turmoil..
instead, it was a love story..
of a couple who did not live happily ever after...
but they live, loving each other..
