Now, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is perhaps, the end of the beginning...

love me, love me not...
Men.
No men, and I REPEAT NO, NOT ONE, NOT A SINGLE MAN are loyal, faithful, can be trusted, etc. NO MEN. NO!
(I'm talking about r'ship ok)
Don't tell me otherwise, and don't argue this with me. NO MEN NOT EVEN ONE man is/am/are loyal, faithful, can be trusted, etc.
LOVE. Love.
Love is blind. Love is blind for a reason. You know why? Cause only blind people believe they're so in love/OMG.
You can NEVER, I repeat NEVER PROVE me wrong. NEVER! Never.
Gals, will always be gals. There're born that way no matter how tough, how strong, how manly they look. Gals will always be gals. They wanna be love, etc, asking for all those unrealistic tender loving care that doesn't exist. If it does, it's called ACTING. ACTING, my love.
Guys, will always be guys. Guys, no matter how soft, how girlie, how good, blah blah blah they may look, guys will always be guys. They will/am/gonna/will/certain/ cheat on ya. It's just a matter of time my love. I'm SURE, I'm so certain, so sure, it's just a matter of time.
Time. Time will prove all these. When it does, you're welcome. (for thanking me) Lol.

a bit disturbing?
okay, maybe i have never blogged about love or relationships before.....(well, not here)... probably because i don't really, like, believe in them... i come from a family where every man in it cheats, whether it's my uncles, cousins, friends, relatives, or even my grandfather!! (once upon a time) okay, not all, just almost all.. (a family history of cheaters? )
so ya, those happily ever after only existed in fairytales..
so, there is no such thing as love... just 2 individuals who feel good together, made believed that they cannot survive without each other, and decided they want to be together.. or at least to try to live the rest of their lives together.. or at least, that was what they thought at that moment in time....
some made it through, some struggled, some persevered, some survived through the storm, some lived in denial and ignorance, some break..
So, the question lies, hypothetically, yes, hypothetically, if your other half cheats on you? would you forgive him/her? would you continue the relationship?
p/s: do try out the new poll survey :)

hidden poems between the pages of my medical books
The ratio of the Spectators Organs but leave Objects untouch'd,
For every space larger than a red globule of Mans blood,
Is visionary, and it is created by the Hammer of Los;
And every space smaller than a Globule of Mans blood opens,
Into eternity of which this vegetable Earth is but a shadow.
The red Globule is the unwearied Sun by Los created
To measure Time and Space to mortal Men...
by William Blake in his poem Milton, section 29, lines 17-24...
NB: Los, the globe of fire, is a symbol used by Blake to encompass the exultant energy of creation, the poetic imagination, and the burning brightness where all is noble images were pounded of eternity and compounded in the most compressed verse and art we have.
Can you believe that? a poem in one of my medical books!! (@page 309) and such beautiful poem! why didn't i noticed it before? when i started reciting and sharing my new discovery with my friends at the library, they thought i was crazy or something.. but anyway, i thought that it was a really nice poem...
This poem, it makes us appreciate the invention of modern investigation and imaging, without the need for invasive procedures. How we can know the function of the liver or kidney function by just taking some blood (LFT, RP)... How we can see cerebral ischemia or hemorrhage via a CT brain, without needing to crack open and view the brain with the naked eye.. by looking at the blood, one can diagnose a disease, manage a patient, and even give a prognosis... (thus measuring time and space to mortal men).... - well, at least that was how i interpreted the poem... every poem can be interpreted differently by different people...
by William Blake
The sky is an immortal tent built by the Sons of Los:
And every space that a man views around his dwelling-place
Standing on his own roof or in his garden on a mount
Of twenty-five cubits in height, such space is his universe:
And on its verge the sun rises and sets, the clouds bow
To meet the flat earth and the sea in such an order'd space:
The starry heavens reach no further, but here bend and set
On all sides, and the two Poles turn on their valves of gold:
And if he moves his dwelling-place, his heavens also move
Where'er he goes, and all his neighbourhood bewail his loss.
Such are the spaces called Earth and such its dimension.
As to that false appearance which appears to the reasoner
As of a globe rolling through voidness, it is a delusion of Ulro.
The microscope knows not of this nor the telescope: they alter
The ratio of the spectator's organs, but leave objects untouch'd.
For every space larger than a red globule of Man's blood
Is visionary, and is created by the Hammer of Los;
And every space smaller than a globule of Man's blood opens
Into Eternity of which this vegetable Earth is but a shadow.
The red globule is the unwearied sun by Los created
To measure time and space to mortal men every morning
This image from the Song of Los, William Blake, is a picture of a naked haematologist working alone, hammering a red cell into shape. Supposedly this was how they worked back then, alone, trying to figure out a disease. (i couldn't explain the naked part though). Nowadays, people worked as a team, with the physician, haematologist, geneticist, specialist, lab staff, staff nurses, etc to manage a patient.'Every space larger than a red globule of man's blood is visionary, and it is created by the Hammer of Los'.
p/s: maybe i seriously need a break from reading... poems in between pages? gosh, what was i thinking? what's with all the emo?

Interesting Fact:
Officially, the name "Glay" is a deliberate misspelling of the word "gray" and represents the style of music they wanted to play: a mixture between rock (black) and pop (white). However, it is thought by many English-speaking residents that the misspelling of the band's name may actually have been due to a genuine error, and the official reason was only decided in retrospect. In support of this, they point out that confusing the R and L is a very common mistake amongst Japanese speakers of English, because the Japanese language does not distinguish between the retroflex ("r") and lateral ("l") phonemes of the liquid morpheme. ^^
~cheers to Glay, who made me fell in lov with the cool electric guitar~

i knew what you did last Halloween
It was October 31, a cold quiet night. The full moon shone brightly, melancholic in a way.... Deep in the basement of HUKM Forensic Hall, there was this lady ghost, sleeping soundly...
Who dares to wake the lady ghost? i smelled of fresh innocent blood.... the smell so tender and juicy... i could not resist...
The lady ghost bumped into the mummy. Being super hungry, she bit off the mummy's big round fresh succulent eyes..Mummy: oh please, great mightly lady ghost, please don't eat me... spare my eyes, they are highly myopic and unhealthy...
Lady ghost: but i'm so so soooooo huuunnnggrryyyyy... the lady ghost craves for fresh innocent blood....
Mummy: oh mighty lady ghost, i am but an old stale mummy....
*tink!* (idea)
Mummy: mummy heard there's a Halloween party at TGI's Fridays... lots of fresh innocent blood to feast on..... mummy can bring great mighty lady ghost there....
Lady ghost : oh really? are you saying lots of fresh innocent blood?
Mummy: yes, oh mighty lady ghost
Lady ghost: wait no more, let's head down to TGI!!

An article from The Star Newspaper:

60-day countdown to rear seat belt use starts today
By ROYCE CHEAH
KUALA LUMPUR: The 60-day countdown to the compulsory use of rear seat belts has begun.
Starting today, authorities will conduct daily operations to ensure rear seat passengers buckle up before it becomes compulsory on Jan 1.
Road Safety Department director-general Datuk Suret Singh said motorists must ensure passengers wear their seat belts if they did not want to have an interrupted journey.
“Otherwise the police will stop you, question you and give you a pep talk,” he told reporters after carrying out a road safety advocacy campaign on the Sungai Besi highway here yesterday.
Suret Singh said a survey among 2,000 respondents found that 70% to 75% were aware of the importance of wearing rear seat belts.
“However, 60% said they would start using them only when it becomes compulsory while 80% are not even aware that it will come into effect on Jan 1,” he said.
He also cautioned parents against having children under five wear adult seat belts and advised them to use child safety seats instead.
“As for those between the ages of five and 10, they can use the adult seat belt but will need a booster for height,” he said.
Suret Singh said that Proton and Perodua would be announcing in early December the schedule for the free fitting of rear seat belts for cars that do not come with them.
He said motorists with such cars need not rush to fit the rear seat belts as the department had given the manufacturers three years to ensure all such cars were fitted with rear seat belts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because 80% of Malaysians were not aware of the implementation of compulsory rear seat belts, which will come into effect on Jan 1 2009, i shall blog about this today.... In fact, if you drive a Proton/Perodua, there will be free fitting of rear seat belts this December for cars with no rear seat belts.
NEWTON FIRST LAW: MOMENTUM
"A body continues to maintain its state of rest or of uniform motion unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force."
Understanding this law, something of which we would have learned during physics lessons in high school, we should understand that when a car suddenly stops, (whether in a crash or emergency brake), the occupants will continue moving in the fast initial velocity and will either
1. be crashed into the vehicle structure
2. be thrown out of the vehicle and crash into a wall/road/another vehicle/ other static objects/etc
3. crashed into the other front occupants
The front seat belts only prevent the formal two, having both front and rear seat beats on would prevent all three.. The middle rear seat passanger can also be prevented from being thrown out with rear seat belts. In a collision (even at a mininum of 50kmph), any occupant in the vehicle will be thrown forward with a force of between 30 to 60 times their own bodyweight.
Let's say you weight an average weight of 50kg,
and 50 x 30 = 150kg,
F = ma , F=50 x 30 x 10 = 1500 N
or perhaps a more precise calculation:
and F=ma
a = (V-u) / t
{acceleration = currant velocity minus initial velocity, then divided by time}
So, if you are breaking from 100km/h to 0 km/h in say 2 seconds,
a=50 m/s2
F= 50 X 50 = 2500 N
that's the amount of force you put on the driver/passenger in front of you!
and of course, if you were speeding, like at 140km/h, the force would be: F = 3500 N !
Even if you were driving at 50kmph breaking in 1 second, your F = 2500 N
Now you see, the impact you could have towards your front driver or yourself..... To solve this problem, there is only few solutions:
1. Reduce the 'a' - Drive slow and safe, DO NOT SPEED!!
2. Reduce the 'm' - Loss weight? haha! another benefit of weight reduction, i suppose.....
3. Prolong the 't' - by using seat belts, etc..
Restrain systems, eg seat belts are designed to help keep people in the vehicle, away from the vehicle structure and other occupants, and to distribute the forces of a crash over the strongest parts of the human body, with minumum damage to the soft tissues..
In fact, countries like Hong Kong, had understood the benefits of wearing rear seat belts and had implemented this rule much earlier.
There is however a set back : The adult seat belt is designed for people 1.5m or mote in height. Therefore, for children/babies, an appropriate child restraint includes a baby carrier, child seat, harness or booster seat suitable for the child’s weight is necessary. I hope the government would take this into consideration.
Do make a point to make sure everyone in the car has their seata belt on before driving.
Final words from me : Buckle up, think of your love ones...
when it's not all a bed of roses
it rained again,
have you even give yourself that little bit of hope,
and then watch that little bit of hope evaporated from you?
like losing something you never actually had,
without realising, it just slipped off your hand,
and you have no one to blame,
as it was never yours to begin with…
the days get harder to past,
when more and more memories of the past,
and you created this space of pseudohappiness,
and filled that space up with all sorts of distractions,
and you have this high risk behaviour,
attention seeking perhaps,
i cannot be too sure,
but what’s the point of seeking the attention of everyone,
everyone except that little piece of hope,
the piece of hope, i now called history,
the piece of hope, i now called memory,
the piece of hope, i now called misery,
life goes on, doesn’t it?
i hope it does… i really do…
Just a random song..
